'Norwegian Wood' looking for U.S. release

'Norwegian Wood'Tran Ang Hung's "Norwegian Wood" continues to be looking for a U.S. release by Soda Pictures and Warning Sign Delivering.Warning Sign will handle the theatrical release in The month of january together with VOD while Soda will handle DVD delivering in mid-2012. "Norwegian Wood" performed in the Venice and Toronto festivals this past year. It's according to Haruki Murakami's novel, released later, and stars Kenichi Matsuyama, Rinko Kikuchi and newcomer Kiko Mizuhara."Norwegian Wood" represents the loves and deficits of the sensitive male university student within the sixties who's interested in American literature compared to the era's political upheavals. Tran won the Venice Golden Lion in 1995 for "Cyclo." Soda/Warning Sign will partner with Vintage Books release a the film tie-in version from the novel within the U.S. and Canada.
