Chinn crazy for Madstone

Matt Chinn, formerly exec VP at legit tour booker AWA Touring, has taken a new gig at Madstone Prods., the Gotham outfit producing arty Off Broadway buzz magnet "Sleep No More." Chinn will oversee the company's production development and touring operations, which currently include the Irish music offering "Celtic Woman." He'll work with Madstone prexy Jonathan Hochwald. Along with "Sleep No More," the dance-installation "Macbeth" redux settling in for what seems to be the foreseeable future in Gotham, Madstone is at work on the developing tuner version of "A Christmas Story," opening at the Windy City's Chicago Theater this holiday season. Next year, company also will present the tour of musicians Human Nature. Chinn, who's worked in legit touring for more than 15 years, has repped domestic and international tours of shows including "A Chorus Line," "Cats," "Dreamgirls" and "American Idiot."
